The inside of the 2020 Toyota RAV4.Crossover SUVs are very popular among car buyers, boasting impressive functionality and capability. The compact crossover segment is fairly crowded, but one model that’s worth looking at is the 2020 Toyota RAV4.

1. Quiet, Comfortable Cabin

One of the most appealing aspects of the 2020 Toyota RAV4 is its cabin. The seating area has enough room for up to five, and even taller passengers will feel comfortable in the second row of seating. The RAV4 is also quiet, giving you and your passengers a more comfortable ride, even at high speeds. It comes in six trim levels, so you can choose the features you want at a price you can afford.

Standard interior features include single-zone manual climate control, cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, and in-dash storage trays. Tech equipment includes a six-speaker sound system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a 7-inch touch screen. With the higher trim levels, you can get additional luxurious features, such as faux leather upholstery, wireless charging, a premium audio system, an 8-inch touch screen, heated seats, ambient lighting, up to five USB ports, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a heated steering wheel.

2. High-End Safety Comes Standard

Every 2020 RAV4 also comes equipped with an appealing suite of safety features designed to protect you and your passengers. This suite, called Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed range dynamic radar cruise control with road sign assist, lane departure warning with steering assist and lane tracing assist, and automatic high beams. Blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking assist with automated braking are available on the higher trim levels as well.

3. Efficiency and Performance

The standard engine in all six trim levels of the RAV4 is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder unit, which pumps out 184 pound-feet of torque and 203 horsepower. It’s an efficient engine that responds well when you accelerate, yet returns impressive fuel economy estimates. Front-wheel drive comes standard on all but the Adventure and TRD Off-Road, which come with Toyota’s AWD system. You can also upgrade any of the other models to include all-wheel drive. Toyota also makes a hybrid version of the RAV4 for those who want to save even more at the pump.

4. Visual Appeal

The outside of the 2020 RAV4 shows off sporty styling elements that make this SUV even more appealing. Even the base model comes equipped with LED headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights, 17-inch steel wheels, automatic high beams, power-adjustable and folding side mirrors, low-profile black roof rails, and dual chrome exhaust tips.

As you move through the higher trims, you can get additional options to make this SUV even more stylish and functional. Some of these include mudguards, rain-sensing wipers, a height-adjustable power-operated liftgate with jam protection, roof rack crossbars, a panoramic moonroof, and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators.
