In addition to the size difference, the two models use different hybrid powertrains. Along with standard FWD and optional AWD, the Highlander Hybrid achieves a zero-to-60-mph mark of 8.4 seconds.
The Grand Highlander, on the other hand, features two available hybrid powertrains. Those looking to upgrade from the 2.5-liter hybrid setup can do so with a 2.4-liter turbocharged I-4, electric motor, and a separate motor on the rear axle.
